Calls and text show up as numbers instead of names

When I receive calls or text they show up as numbers instead of my contacts names this was fine until I got phone replaced and Verizon transferred contacts any suggestions

Doing a factory restore via iTunes sometimes help curing that issue for me.

I had the same issue. When I took it to the apple store they said it was a software issue. I did a restore and it's fine now.

If you dial *228 (Verizon only) and reprogram the phone it will fix the issue. It's a Verizon issue. The texts and calls already in the phone won't update but everything from that point on will.

Jsimpson. Apple did that to my phone when I went to the store. I couldn't remember whether it was option #1 or #2. They told me that it was a Verizon issue as well.
