Automation Trigger for either Watch App Opened or Apple TV Turned On

Hello, I am trying to set up a reminder for myself that I need do something before a workout. Either of the following scenarios work for me, it doesn't really matter:

1) When (Beachbody) app is opened on my watch, show my custom notification, or
2) When my AppleTV is turned on (or even better: if the Beachbody app on the TV is opened; not sure if that's a possibility?), show my custom notification

I have no problem with the second half of this problem, but I can't figure out how to trigger it. Possibly some sort of shortcut first?
