PaidContent features the results of a new survey from mobile ad company InMobi, which has some stunning figures ahead of the launch of the next iPhone, due for release on October 14. The survey, which polled 1,086 mobile owners over an even demographic split, found that in the US, 41 percent consumers said that they will be buying the next iPhone, with more than 50 percent of those respondents saying that they intended to purchase the new phone within the next six months. The survey also polled UK mobile phone owners, and found very similar levels of anticipation for the launch of the next iPhone there too, with 39 percent of UK respondents saying that they planned to buy the next iPhone, and 48 percent of those saying that they intend to make that purchase within the next six months. Staggering figures for Apple that suggest the next iPhone will be an incredible success, as if we ever doubted it! However, the survey does have one cautionary proviso, saying that when asked about their intentions should Apple only release an updated iPhone 4s, only 12 percent of UK consumers said that they would buy it.
