2 Iphones, same iTunes account, but different #s question

I'm utilizing 2 Iphones for a few weeks, an original Iphone 5 and a 5s

I used my original iTunes account when I obtained the second one and plan on using it all the time eventually.

However, when I get imessages, the message goes to both the new phone, and the old phone, even though their are separate numbers. The sender is using the new number, not my email addy, and it goes to both phones.

Is there a way to separate that so only the messages arrive at the right phone instead of both.

Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. On each iPhone uncheck the number of the other phone.

That's all you should have to do.
