Zoo Story Coming Soon to App Store

TeamLava announced today that Zoo Story, the latest instalment in the “Story” iOS franchise, will soon be arriving in the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. As you might expect from the title, in the game you get to play as a zoo keeper, managing the zoo and taking care of the animals. Players start off by discovering wild animals in the jungle, ocean and beyond and bringing them back to their zoo, where it’s their job to breed the animals and care for the babies, as well as harvest crops to feed them all. And as if that wasn’t enough to keep you busy, you’ll also have to keep the zoo visitors happy with lots of cool amenities, theme park attractions and healthy animals for them to coo over. It’s also up to the player to design the zoo layout and décor. Social networking features are a big part of the game, with players being able to invite other players to tour their animal displays and exciting attractions. You can also earn prizes by completing special quests to gain experience and unlock brand new animals, and if you turn out to be a really awesome zoo keeper, you might even discover mythic animals such as the unicorn (and no, that doesn’t mean the white iPhone 4!).
