As Apple's Fall iPhone event gets closer, more and more leaks of future devices start to surface. This time around is another photo of an alleged iPhone 5S rear shell. While this rear shell could very well be from an early iPhone 5 or iPhone 5S prototype, there are a few minor changes to that of the iPhone 5.

It has long been rumored, after Apple's acquisition of AuthenTec, that the iPhone 5S will have new fingerprint scanning technology. These rear shell photos show an augmented Home button spacer on the bottom, as well as some extra padding on the inside. While it's hard to tell from just a shell, this tweaked spacer could very well be for the addition of the fingerprint sensor. The above photo shows a comparison from French blog NowWhereElse.fr of the iPhone 5 rear shell to this new leak. Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 5S and possible a cheaper iPhone 5C at this year's event on Tuesday, September 10th.
