I find Yahoo's entry into the news borrowing field very aggregating. They make a great show with red carpet notifications and then produce 9 stories of marginal interest - they're late to the party and don't seem to realize what has been learned by news hounds over many years: you must give a large assortment of items to intrigue readers. Newspapers are only minimally read, after all, with the idea a family might collectively justify a wide assortment of offerings. Nobody will score offering me 9 items which I've already seen on Zite or Flipboard anyway. Deleted. Try again, Yahoo, ...
