Wtf?

I just got an iphone 4s new from at&t. I had an iphone 3 a couple months ago and it was synced to my laptop. I connected my new iphone to my computer and it asked me to restore from backup and so I said "ok". And its been extreamly irritating since then. I lost all my new info and it was replaced with my old phones info. I went to reset the whole thing and cant even do that because my crazy ex boyfriend put a restrictions passcode on my iphone 3. I hope this makes sence to someone and I don't have to look like a dumbass when I take it into at&t to have it fixed

Place the device into DFU mode and restore the device. If you still need some of the components of the backup, depending on what portions of the old backup you need, you can isolate them and sync only those particular entities over.
