I'm trying to get something to work here.. and would like to know if I buy one of those adapters that allow you to plug in a 3.5mm source as an "input" for the Iphone will it also STILL output the bluetooth audio from an application that is running in the foreground?
I have a Radar detector that isn't loud enough.. and it has a headphone jack for an external speaker.. and it also runs an Iphone app called Escort live. Both the detector and the application send alerts. In order to hear them over my stereo system, I've bought a JBL Flip 2 bluetooth speaker.. however I really need to know the above as I'll need to "combine" both sources of alerts into the one phone so I don't miss any.
