I am a new Iphone owner and have noticed that even though I have Wifi enabled at home. When the phone is put in sleep mode and woken up that it is in 3G briefly before switching to Wifi. Does this have a bearing on the battery since Wifi should draw less power and the phone isn't entirely asleep since it is capable of receiving push notifications?
