I am surprised I couldn't find a topic with this problem.
Mine (and a lot of 3GS and 4S users are complaining about very poor wi-fi reception after upgrading to iOS5. The problem is more annoying because we cannot revert to a previous release ... and Apple is not recognizing the problem. The Apple store employees are indicating a hardware problem (which is no help. if outside warranty).
We have tried many things to regain reception. Nothing has worked for the large majority of us.
Anyone have an answer or know how to get Apple's attention (and response)?
