Why you loose your contacts

Hi every one I have Register many contact number on my iphone4s but I loose then when I click on contact I see only few of them. Some contacts I put also picture of then I use before but suddenly disappear. And why contact on my micro sim can't appear on my iphone. I have almost 200 contacts that I can't read on iPhone from sim it's difficult now to register all those number again. Please help me may be theres is a short and easy way for it. Maybe you should go and check the selected settings that you are using for the contacts.
