Why would FaceTime become disabled?

So today was the first time I hooked my new iPhone up to iTunes and proceeded to install a few more apps (prior to this I had used AppStore on phone). Anyway, after the sync I found that:
A. My wife's contact had been deleted
and
B. FaceTime was disabled.

Anyone know what would cause this?

Apple took your wife and wont let you see her ever again...
Haha, does facetime show up under any other contacts? I never had a FaceTime icon, it's just there when you pull up a contact.

Not sure what happened with her contact.
