Why Won't Picture Message with Dictated Text Send?

I can choose a pic from photos and type a text and it will send. But if I dictate the accompanying message and hit "send", the app--camera or photos closes when I hit "send" without sending the message or even creating it. Happens on WIFI or cell data. Any thoughts?

I have confirmed that this is a bug which crashes the Messages App. I have my iPhone 4S setup to forward crashes to Apple directly. So they should have the snap shot the next time I sync.

I am looking at the crash log and it looks like it is a library called dylib. Unfortunately I am not at home to look this up in XCode.

I tested this under iOS 5.0.1 Beta 2. Which means the odds of a fix quickly are pretty slim.
