If the option of camera on
This means that the picture is sent to Web sites
Is this true or a rumor

All the camera location does is geotag your photos. The location the picture was taken at will be attached to the photo. That's why you have an album and places tab in your photo app.

Well whenever you give your camera location permission the gps in your phone finds your location and attaches it to the picture. It doesn't send it to any website. Although if you post the pic to a website the geotag will stay attached to the picture. So let's say you post the picture to Facebook the geotag will show up. I have my camera locations off. I don't want my photos geotagged :D!

I also do not want my photos geotagged.

There's really only a need for it if you are person who wants to have some record (aside from the image showing you to a degree) where you were when taking the photo.

There's too much identification of where we are at any one time already IMO.
