It seems that crooks can just steal your iPhone , and just restore it EVEN if it has a pass code lock on it, I've tried it with my own iPhone and it works.
So that makes Find My iPhone App..... Worthless .
Maybe Apple should support us end users better by making it that if you have a pass code, you HAVE TO input it BEFORE you can power off the device, have iTunes REFUSE to restore unless you enter the CORRECT pass code.
What??? Oh, you say that's TOO much effort on your part???
Try saying that when you have to pay FULL RETAIL for another iPhone .

What does everybody think of this??
Let's see.....

What about the folks who forget their pass code? Maybe a better idea would be linking the device serial number to a certain Apple ID and refusing to do anything on the iDevice for any other Apple ID. Selling an iDevice would require the owner to "release" that device in their iCloud account before it can be restored, but that's trivial. I feel this would cut down on the number of stolen devices.
