iCloud service for any iDevice user is free up to 5GB of storage.

I have an older iPhone 3Gs and my Photo Library keeps disappearing with over 5,000 photos. Can I transfer these photos embedded in my phone to iCloud for storage or doesn't it work with the older phones? I plan to get a new iPhone 5 next month when my 2-year contract is up.

It works, but you need a device running iOS 5 or higher, go into settings > iCloud and enable it, then enable your pictures contacts and all that and then it should pair up an update everytime you modify or take a new picture.

iCloud s free for the first 5GB of storage. If you need more storage, you pay an annual fee, based on how much storage you need.

Add 10 GB: 20.00 a year which adds up to 15 GB
Add 20 GB: 40.00 a year which adds up to 20 GB
Add 50 GB: 100.00 a year which adds up to 55 GB
