9to5 Mac has today posted a video from ETrade that compares an iPhone 4S with what it says is a front panel from the forthcoming iPhone 5. ETrade says that the new display is 0.1mm thinner than the iPhone 4S, with an 0.3mm smaller home button, as well as a much smaller area around the earpiece at the other end of the screen. Among other significant finds reported on in the video are that the new display apparently has much improved light transmittance, as well as being much more scratch resistant than previous models. The report also says that the iPhone 5s glass lens has a resolution ratio of around 16:9, which is another marked improvement. If youre someone who has been waiting to find out precise and accurate measurements and specifics about the next iPhone, then this is the video for you, assuming its genuine of course!
