Video MMS

Hi there!

As we all know, videos taken via the iPhone 4 are very high quality and it's just fabulous.

However, when you text someone a video, the video becomes extremely low-quality and becomes very small.

Why does this happen? Is it possible to alter this? If I send a video taken by an iPhone 4 to another person with an iPhone 4, will the quality be clear?

All videos sent over mms are reduced quality. Email works a bit better... But even a min of video is a very large file.

Use email instead.
Mms compresses them and makes them grainy like that. It's not an option it's done on the carriers end for network reasons and so that they can be sent and received easier and faster.
