I bought an iPhone 4 on ebay the other day, which the seller claimed was perfectly clean and would work on a sprint line. Upon getting this phone, I took it to sprint to activate it, and its already on someone elses number. I cant make outgoing calls or texts, Its not been reported lost or stolen, and they pretty much told me they cant help and me and to get out. I hate wasting my money, so is there any way i could activate this phone on my number and take it off of the other number?

Until the seller's new ESN is registered on his account to replace the old 4 now in your possession, you can't activate it on your number. I'd contact the owner and ask for that to be done.
