Unlock iphone 3GS

Hello everyone I am trying to unlock a 3GS but apparently I need the ipad baseband or something and the serial number says its made in 2011 or something like that its 87920 I hear this is bad if it is how can I unlock it downgrading or something thanks!

what is your iPhone baseband? if you are on the right one which i think you are, all you do is jailbreak it and install ultrasnow from Cydia.

I installed the baseband via Redsn0w it was so easy Then I proceeded to jailbreak the phone and then install Ultrasn0w from Cydia SUPER EASY! It wasn't even my phone it was my bro friends
