Trouble with ending calls...

Sometimes my 4s doesnt want to respond to when I try hitting the end button when trying to end a call. I keep having to hit it. And its annoying! Before I rarely had trouble with my iphone. The last few months it started doing this. I had this phone for about 8 months. I'm not rough with it. I think I take pretty good care of it. I just don't get it. And I want to add Its not jailbroken and its updated to the lastest ios.

Hard reset. Hold the home button and standby/sleep button at the same time till the white Apple logo appears. Release both buttons and then test. The one time I had that issue, that was my solution and it worked.
