Transferring Pictures from iPhone to PC

Downloaded iCloud yesterday and since then cannot import the Photos on my iPhone into any Adobe programs such as Lightroom or Bridge. Any advice?

Transfer them to the pc as though the iPhone is a flash drive. Open my computer,iPhone,dcim then you'll find your pics. Drag and drop.

Thanks. I can do it the way you state but I should be able to import them from the iPhone to Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Bridge. The way you suggest is an extra step, but better then nothing.
