Text Messages Not Deliverable to Random Contacts

I have an iPhone 4 .. After updating to the new Version.... I was unable to send iMessage and reg texts to about 25% of my contacts ... That's not receiving or sending ! It appears to be random contact numbers that are affected ... Anyone able to help ? As my warranty exp

Have you checked to make sure the affected contact #'s are still in tact?

I have the same problem very fustrating. Why only certain contacts. When you pull up a contqct you can tell right away the message won't go. The send button is green. When it works it is blue. Anyclue would help

The ones I became aware of yes ... But it's not just that .... It is sometimes new contacts as if I were just meeting you ... I prob wouldn't be able to successfully message you ... I heard that I may have to have my carrier change the number my phone dials when it's trying to retrieve messages ....?
