It’s back! Today G5 releases the second instalment in its Supermarket Mania franchise for iPhone and iPad. The game sees the story continuing with Nikki and her friends Clarence, Wendy and Max heading for the West Coast and Tinseltown where her Uncle Ross needs her help to restore his ailing supermarket chain to its former glory, and Mr. Torg is lurking in the shadows out for revenge. The game is set in six locations, including bustling downtown, quiet suburbs, sunny beaches, a ski resort and in the tallest building in town. There are more than 80 levels to play through as you attempt to achieve expert score, and the usual comic-style art that you’d expect from a Supermarket Mania game.

New game mechanics include stocking shelves, making milkshakes, brewing coffee, baking croissants, squeezing fresh juice and serving fresh pizza, all in a bid to keep your customers happy. Expand your business by hiring assistants to help you, buying new equipment and décor, and also running a delivery service. You’ll also have to deal with shoplifters and impatient celebrities as best you can.
