Still confused about iPhone 5 camera

it has an 8 mega pixel camera.

It is the same aperture (f/2.4) and sensor as the 4S. the difference is the thinner lens and the graphical hardware behind it (A6 processor et al).

Basically it's the same. It's the photo processing that will be better. They have given us nothing better in the camera really, not with all the editing apps available ect...
