BGR reports that Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has referred to Apple as “arrogant” for not giving the iPhone 5 a bigger display. In an interview with TechCentral, Wozniak said that the fact that the iPhone 5 does not have a bigger display is because Apple thinks it is “the only one with the right clue.” Wozniak went on to say that he wished Apple had made two different iPhone 5 models, a bigger one and a smaller one, but with the same aspect ratio. Wozniak also says that it doesn’t necessarily have to matter whether or not you can reach all the apps with one thumb, and he doesn’t think that people will have any trouble using a larger screen. He even says that he thinks Apple made the thumb comments because it had been caught out not having a bigger screen for the iPhone 5. “Apple is now trying to run with that defence,” Wozniak told TechCentral. “…saying ‘we are right’ and really there’s a mix of people. Not all people want the same thing and a lot of people really like the big screens.”

Wozniak really needs to stay out of the limelight. His comments either come off as ignorant or self serving. This particular one comes is ignorant.

He had his shot back in the early days to be relevant. He left the scene and should have stayed that way.
