Splash Shopper data gone with iPhone ios update

I have been a user of SplashShopper since it came out for the Palm platform and alway found indispensable. I currently use it on the iPhone (6s). When I updated to version ios 9.3.1, disaster struck. All of my data is missing and I have no idea how to get it back. I really don't feel like adding everything back manually, especially knowing this could happen again with the next ios update. Can anyone help?

Did you backup your iPhone before updating it? An iPhone backup would contain the app data. If there's no backup then, unfortunately, there's no way to recover the data unless the app developers store it on their own servers.
