Hi, my iPhone 4 originally played music only from the speaker on the bottom right, which I soon discovered was the norm. But randomly I started listening to music and rather than playing music from that speaker it mostly plays from the earpiece... I don't like it because it doesn't seem as loud and I also can't plug the sound with my thumb if someone is talking to me...
