Songs with only track numbers

Hi, i have copied a number of cd' on to my i phone ( via i tunes) but the artist and song names are not being displayed only the track numbers, foes anyone know how i can recyify this?

It's going to be tedious. You will need to plug your phone into your PC and manually edit the tags in iTunes.

AFAIK, tags can't be edited directly on the iPhone.

Thanks, i was hoping there might be an app, i don't know what half the songs are called.

I have had very good sucess with an App called Soundhound
It listens to the song then tells you what it is, who it is by, track number, lyrics etc
