software update remove?

hello all im a newbie with the iPhone 4 so please excuse me on the iPhone the general settings icon has a red number 1 this is there bcause of the new ios 7 update but i am not interested in installing it right now is there a way to delete this red number 1 i went to general and theres a grey number 1 in software update i touch that and it asks me if i want to download and install but i dont i would like to erase the number 1 is this possiblet hanks all

It isn't possible unless you jailbreak the iPhone. And I don't recommend that unless you really know what you are doing.
