I‘m not sure what you‘re referring to, but maybe this will help:
Go to Settings - Siri & Search - Siri Suggestions, disable Suggestions while Searching, Suggestions on LockScreen, or Suggestions on HomeScreen, whichever you‘re trying to get rid of.
