Shutdown camera function 12 mini

My friend is blind. She has Ipone 12 mini. She often open camera function by mistake and tapp down the battery because she doesn't know that it is on. Can one shot down this function permanently? Have anyone a good solution to this?

In Settings, go to Screen Time. If it hasn‘t been enabled, select “Turn on Screen Time”, then choose “This is my iPhone”.
In Screen Time, go to “Content & Privacy Restrictions”. There, select “Allowed Apps” and turn off Camera.
This will hide the camera app and remove it from the lock screen.
