Hi

I pre-ordered the iPhone 5 at apple.com to my home and it will be delivered this Thursday.

However, while I was on vacation last week, I went to the apple store and purchased an iPhone 5 ATT.

The ATT person activated my account on my new phone and I assume she cleared the phone prepared for me originally to be sent to my home.

QUESTION: CAN I sell the unopened ATT iPhone that I will be receiving? Can any ATT user buy and use it?

What happens to the sim card that was supposed to programmed for me initially in that phone?

Thank you! and I appreciate any suggestions and help!!

Best!

Yes you can sell it freely for any AT&T customer. No harm done..

Yep... anyone on AT&T can use it. They'll need to get a micro SIM from AT&T that's attached to their account. Now that doesn't go without saying, though, that if YOU stop paying the wireless bill assosiated w/ the upgrade or new line added to acquire this iPhone 5.... AT&T will blacklist this iPhone from working for ANYONE. Not saying that's what's going on here... just putting the word out.
