Search function in iOS Map app does not work

Ever since I upgraded the IOS several months ago (7.0.3) the search function in Maps does not work. I can type in something like "Denver CO" and will get a message saying "No Results Found." Really? This app can't find a major city? Even if I just type in "Denver" and it gives me a drop down of several selections, I can select the offered "Denver CO United States" and still get "No Results Found."

What's going on here? For the record, location services is turned on for Maps, though it shouldn't make any difference for a search.

I know many of you will say to that Google Maps is better. Perhaps that is so, but I prefer the simplicity of the ios MAPS and would like it to work properly.

Try using the comma, even in IOS6 Apple maps likes the punctuation (I just checked on my phone that still has IS 6.14). hth
