Screen Lock Question

New guy here... Had a quick question, I put my screen lock password on (per our company policy) if the phone was to get shut off and turned back on.. can the lock be bypassed that way?

The only way round the lockscreen passcode since the latest update is by restoring the phone. This will erase all contents on the phone anyway. If you haven't updated to the latest update in iTunes (4.2.1) there is a bug that allows it to be bypassed quite easily...
