On my old IPhone 6S,notifications (texts etc) were at the top of the screen. On the iPhone 8 I’ve now got, they’re at the bottom. I can’t change it to how they were. Is this how it is on the iPhone 8?
🤔

From iOS 16 Notifications have been displayed at the bottom of the iPhone screen. There is no way to change them to the top.

Just swipe them up. They did this so the new lockscreen widgets can be seen better. You can choose how you want notifications to appear on the Lock Screen: Count: Shows the total number of notifications at the bottom of the screen. You can tap the count to see notifications. Stack: Shows notifications stacked at the bottom of the screen, with the most recent notification at the top. List: from New to old shown on screen as list.
