First, thanks for reading and the help.

I use AutoResponder to send an automatic reply when I'm driving to let the person sending the text that I'm not going to read their message until I stop. I also suggest that they call me if it is urgent. I spend 3-4 hours a day in the car and I'm dead serious about not texting with my iPhone4.

The problem is that it still gives me the sound notification. This is then so tempting to read the text. I really want to not be tempted! Is there an SBSettings toggle to just turn off the text sounds. If there is I sure can't find it. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Or perhaps something other than Sbsettings? biteSMS does get rid of the notification but not the sound (there is a toggle for this app).

Also, what's up with Apple not supporting apps that disable the texting feature while driving (GPS detects > 10MPH)?

Thanks.

Thanks for the response. Yes, that is obvious. However, I'm trying to turn that on/off quickly only while driving. Any further thoughts?
