BGR writes that a well-known, and often accurate, Apple leaker, Twitter user @OnLeaks, has tweeted news that will bring joy to the hearts of anyone waiting for the iPhone 8. After all those rumours and reports about delays, it’s great to see something a little more positive for a change.

In one tweet, OnLeaks said that “Hirings and trainings for new iPhones production just started at Foxconn,” and in another he said, “According to my sources: DVT started last month. PVT will start between June and July. Final mass production in August for September launch.

However, while it’s certainly very good news, if true, that the iPhone 8 will still launch in September as usual, OnLeaks’ words do hint that other rumours that production delays could lead to stock shortages may indeed be true, as going into mass production one month before launch would surely not be enough time to manufacture enough units to cope with the massive demand for the new phone.
