Hi all - can someone answer this for me please:

On my iPhone 4, if i turn off my cellular and wifi connections, can the phone connect via Bluetooth to another Bluetooth device with an internet connection (i.e. a Bluetooth modem/router) and obtain a data connection from that device that it could used to browse the internet or retrieve emails.

Thanks.

yes it should be doable once your iphone arrive to connect to the bluetooth rooter.

Thanks for your reply. Can you answer this please... What has more of a drain on battery - active wifi, or active bluetooth?

Once the wifi find a spot, it stop searching for wifi spot, so it wouldn't drain that much of battery comoare to bluethooth wich always keeps on searching for devices to pair even if it has already pair some devices. So from this point of searching view, bluetooth will tend to drain more battery life than wifi.
