Restore error -1

Hi,

I've got an iPhone 6 and 5c that when I try to restore via iTunes or 3uTools I get error -1

I've installed a new version of Windows on my pc with only the updates done. No anti virus and disabled the firewall too.

The iPhone 6 worked before I attempted a restore.

Here's what you also can do in order to get rid of that error:

Make sure iTunes is up to date. The latest version is 12.6.1.

Unplug all other devices from your computer and restart your computer, then try restoring once more.

Close all other apps or programs on your PC, then close iTunes and open it again, connect your iPhone and restore it.

Put your iPhone into DFU mode (DFU Mode - The iPhone Wiki) and restore it.

Remove the SIM card and restore it.

If all of these don't help, and you keep getting that error, it's quite likely that there's a hardware problem causing it.
