Restore and email question

I just restored my iPhone 4, and now the system has forced back to my iPhone, about 700 old emails. When I look down at my email button it has a red 50 (because I load 50 at a time). If one by one, I begin deleting all 50 emails, it will load another 50, and keep on doing this until we get back too emails I received during the Carter administration. Is there any way of doing a "delete all" or anything faster than deleting them one at a time?

Delete them or mark them read on the mail account first. Then you should be good to go once they get to your phone.
