Real money prizes - is it a fantasy?

Hey guys,
My friends and I are developing a Fantasy Sports game with a big cash prize at the end of the season, and small cash prizes that are given to the league leaders every month.

The app itself will be FREE to download, but creating a team will cost a certain amount of money, not sure how much at this point (in-app-purchase).
Plus, users will be able to trade players throughout the season for a certain price, again – not sure how much at this point (in-app-purchase)

Once you pick your players, you can name your team, create a logo, design a uniform and so on…

THE QUESTION IS: DO YOU THINK THE APP STORE WILL APPROVE SUCH AN APP?
Are cash prizes allowed in fantasy sports games?

It's really difficult to say what the AppStore will and will not allow as apps within their environment. The best bet is to assess Apple's app development criteria on their website and also join their App developer Forum for further info.
