This is prolly a dumb question but I'm still new with the iPhone. But what exactly is the point of iCloud? Is it worth using or what? Any comments would help.

iCloud allows you to have a backup of information on your device without having to connect to a computer. It also allows you to choose what info you wish to backup... contacts, photos, calender, notes, ect. Any combination of these and a few others. The only drawback that I see is Apple gives you 5GB of storage for free... anything more than that you have to purchase.
