QR Code Reader

    Thank you for letting me into this forum. You might regret it when I say that I am a Windows 10 and unsmart Doro non-gaming old person who has recently been given an elderly iPhone 6s and is in the process of getting to know it, Or trying to.
    I want to download a QR Code Reader app, not because I will use much but just for the hell and excitement of it.
    There is a choice of sites to click on. I don't want to pay and of course I don't want it to include a mass of unwanted rubbish.
    What should I beware of when dowloading such things?
    Should I buy any protection eg Kaspersky, or an adblocker?

    You don’t need any special app. The camera on the iPhone have a built in QR code reader. The camera will automatically detect and scan any QR codes.

    No need for anti virus software

    For an adblocker there are several, although many, including myself, use Adblock Plus, which minimises adverts and is free.
