Just realized push notifications are working on my 3GS iOS 5.0.1 semi-tether.
Today i created a new custom IPSW using Snowbreez 2.8b11. During the process i chose for snowbreeze to install the iPad baseband. Restored and activated with iTunes(I'm from Tanzania but factory unlocked[i don't know how])m.
After activating with iTunes, i just booth tether using Redsn0w 0.9.9b8 (i remember skipping the jailbreak) and Cydia just appear, opened it, installed srmitether and a couple of tweak but no push tweak, but they're just working on there own)
If anyone found useful, should give it a try.
