Problem installing redsn0w_mac_0.9.6rc16

After I tried to install redsn0w_mac_0.9.6rc16 and iPhone1,2_4.2.1_8C148_Restore I got the message waiting to reboot. I waited over 20 min then I just rebooted my mac and then had to Re-synce my iPhone4. My question is how long should I waite and how will I know if the app's install correctly. Thanks.

Wait for device to reboot takes about 1mn 20s everytime i'm jailbreaking. You can still wait 5mn to it to react, but more than that is already not good.
