Private Business App

Hello,

I am IT for a small company. (+/- 80) We are looking at getting Iphones and IPads for some of the empolyees for working on the road. My question is... Am I able to create an App and distribute it to my company phones? All I can find is sites that want me to JailBreak the phone, or that I need to put it on the App Store. We are looking to create some calculators etc. that would only fit out business. Also possibly terminal screens to tie into a server on our local network and update data.

You need to register as a Enterprise Developer to handle it easily. https://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/enterprise/gettingstarted/

You could register as a Standard Developer, but you can only deploy to 100 devices and you have to handle the deployment to each phone individually. https://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/gettingstarted/

The Enterprise Developer Program is the way to distribute private apps with your company.

If you can do your development in the WebApp framework, that would work as well.
