Printing from iPhone5

I know there are "iPhone-ready" printers, but I don't have one. Are there other ways to print directly from an iPhone? (My printer is an HP Photosmart.)

If your HP printer is one that can connect to you computer by wi-fi as well as by plugging in to your computer it may work. Turn the printer on and enter the wifi network info, if it is not already set up that way. Then follow these instructions from Apple.

Thanks bear. The instructions included in your reply were very clear, and the air print option does work with my HP model. Problem solved.
