I am looking for good portable GPS for my car. I would like one with bluetooth support, so that the screen will show who is calling and then allow me to use it as a speakerphone for hands free use.
Voice command would also be nice.
Yes, I know I can use a GPS app on my phone, but for various reasons I prefer a stand alone GPS. (I do use the Tom Tom iPhone app in my other car).
Garmin is promising, although their Smartphone features only work on Androids. I think I can still do hands free calling though.
Anyone have a TomTom? They seem to have better Apple support in general. The TomTom HD traffic, which I have on my other car, is good.
Do any of these support text messages being sent from the iPhone to the GPS screen?
How is Garmin's traffic?
Finally, which company has the better speaker (easier to understand)?
